Dear Lord! It's almost Christmas already!
I've started teaching at the Kölner Design Akademie, lecturing on creative writing, scriptwriting, application, concepts etc. Love my students! They are so amazingly talented!
I had a great trip to Frankfurt Bookfair this year, interviewing publishers for aufgezeichnet.tv, hanging out with other artists and authors, having great fun with the Carlsen staff (publisher of my Boys Love Manga trilogy "Lilientod") and ... oh my god, the food was so awesome!
I still got some major appointments left in 2011, but I've already reached that time of the year where I think about the following one rather than the current one. 2012 - here I come!

Wow, it's August already? What the... wow.
Currently, I'm quite busy with customer acquisition. Some things didn't turn out as I expected and only a few things went accourding to plan. Yet, I love working freelance, so that's what I have to focus on.
I'm still working on new projects with some artists, but I can't give you any names yet. Luckily, Fireangels ist going to release Lemon Law #4 soon. The Boys-Love-anthology will contain two short manga written by me:
Mein Mitbewohner aus der Hölle (My fellow lodger from hell), illustrated by AngelaLich and China Blue Chapter 1 Part 2, co-written by Sai Nan and illustrated by slippeddee. Unfortunately, the anthology is published in German only.
China Blue is being pre-published online at chinabluecomic.com - an English language version will be available soon.
To all my English readers: I've started working on a comic series in the universe of my Boys Love novels "In maiorem dei gloriam". The books are available in German only, but you don't have to know the books to understand the comic, I promise! The English version of Young Prophets is currently hosted by youngprophets.smackjeeves.com. Young Prophets is illustrated by Nina EruNuo Nowacki who also did the illustrations for the novels.
Furthermore, I started working for a German a web-TV-show about comics, manga and graphic novels called "aufgezeichnet.tv". The show can be watched here: aufgezeichnet.tv or youtube.com/aufgezeichnettv. I'm working behind the scences as an editor and in front of the camera for manga reviews.
Finally, I will start teaching at a German private art and design school as a private lecturer this fall. My classes will deal with business related topics (e.g. cv, letter of application, presentation techniques, employment references) and/or creative topics (creative writing, developing fictional and non-fictional book/comic/film concepts).
